The traditional duplero candle (from the Latin “duplex,” or double) has been used since medieval times. Each candle begins as two hand dipped tapers. Once slightly cooled, the tapers are carefully twisted around one another to create a single candle with two wicks. When lit, the duplero burns as a twin flame.
Keep wick trimmed to a quarter inch for optimal burn.
